To commemorate his birthday, Tim organizes an annual birthday party with the motto “Tim Foust and Friends Birthday Bash”. For the event, which began in 2016, he gathers a special group of friends for an evening of star music and humor. Their albums, ‘Home Free‘ and ‘Crazy Life,’ were released on February 18, 2014. However, they were released digitally on January 14, 2014. He then joined the Boston-based group Ball In The House‘.
Two years later, Dive Bar Saints found Home Free primarily concentrating on original material. In 2020, the group issued a new holiday collection, Warmest Winter, that featured a set of yuletide favorites and a handful of self-penned songs. Sounds of Lockdown, a collection of songs recorded while the group was laying low during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, arrived in July of the following year. For their next release, Home Free tried a new approach.

So there’s no breaking news alert to be had there, on the all-vocals front. But Dive Bar Saints does have a few other fresh headlines for the group, as their first album since they took full control of their recording career. Home Free had been on a major label ever since finding national fame via NBC’s “The Sing-Off,” the a cappella competition show they won in 2013, after more than a decade on the road. This new album, though, is coming out on Home Free Records, which will be distributed by The Orchard globally. And it’s not just the imprint that’s changing as they take the reins. In 2012, Austin Brown was working on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship as a featured singer in their production shows.

On October 8, 2020, the band announced an Indiegogo campaign to fund a virtual holiday concert called "Warmest Winter" to coincide with the release of a new CD of the same name. The campaign met its initial funding goal in nine hours and stretch goals were added for further funding. The pre-filmed concert was streamed from December 2 to 5, 2020, and featured guest appearances by Alabama and The Oak Ridge Boys, among others.

Tim Foust, whose extraordinary five-octave vocal range captivated the judges, has his mother, Dena Foust, to thank for. He credits his mother for bringing out his singing skills when she would sing to him when he was just a baby until he was a child. Collaborating with friends is a huge part of what makes Tim happy and one of his favorite ways to spend time.
